Salary Calculator (Hourly to Annual)
Convert an hourly wage into annual, monthly, and weekly pay.
Estimates for educational purposes only — not financial, tax, or investment advice.
Turning an hourly rate into a salary
To annualize an hourly wage, multiply it by the hours you work per week and by 52 weeks. This calculator does that and breaks it into monthly and weekly figures too, so you can compare an hourly job offer against a salaried one on equal terms.
What it doesn't include
This shows gross pay before taxes and deductions. Your take-home will be lower after federal and state income tax, Social Security and Medicare, and any benefits or retirement contributions. Use it to compare offers, then estimate take-home separately.
Frequently asked questions
Does this assume paid time off?
It assumes you're paid for 52 weeks. If your role is unpaid for some weeks, multiply by the weeks you're actually paid instead.
Is this gross or net pay?
Gross — before taxes and deductions. Your net (take-home) pay will be lower.
